The Empyrean Vol. 2 is a straight bourbon whiskey finished in both red port and white port wine casks, each matured along its own path before being brought together with quiet precision. One offers brightness, lifted fruit, and a graceful floral edge. The other moves darker, layered with depth and richness. Together, they linger, balanced, evolving, and impossible to divide.
Crafted by Dark Arts Whiskey House, the brainchild of Macaulay Minton, formerly of Wilderness Trail's acclaimed single barrel program, this Lexington, Kentucky operation specializes in the art of blending, rebarreling, and finishing whiskey without coloring, flavoring, or chill filtration.

Palate: Waves of ripe red fruit and honeyed jam preserves arrive first, layered over baking spice and subtle oak. Richly textured and quietly decadent, it unfolds like dessert by candlelight.
Finish: Long, creamy, and warming, with soft florals, dried fruit, and a final whisper of spice.
